In Week 13, I took a trip to Chicago that made me realize how lucky I am. I heard stories from people who carry everything they own in a backpack, an army veteran that's going through a tough time, and a man that lost his brother recently to a shooting. Seeing and hearing these things made me reflect on how good I have it. Out of the blue I also met a short, skinny old man that handed me a dollar. I asked him" are you sure?" and he said yes then walked away.

This was a big wake up call for me to listen and recognize my connection with my religion.
